From western Austria and Switzerland you go through the Arlberg tunnel (S16) or over the Arlberg pass (B197) to get to the Paznaun valley. In summer you can also take the Silvretta high alpine road. From Italy you reach us over the Reschen pass (B180) or the Brenner pass (A13, which is E45). The closest traffic and transport interchange is Landeck, about 33 km away from Mathon . Exit there and drive towards Pians, there you take the road to Paznaun and pass the villages of See, Kappl and Ischgl before you finally arrive in Mathon. GETTING HERE BY TRAIN OR AIR You can also come to Mathon travelling by plane or by train. BY TRAIN: Go to the Landeck train station, then continue to Mathon by public transport; you can go by taxi or take a bus (Postbus runs a regular bus service from Landeck to Mathon). BY AIR: Your plane lands in Innsbruck (about 105 km away from Mathon), Zürich (about 240 km away from Mathon) or Munich (about 240 km away from Mathon).
